There are a number of ways that you can get involved to suit your interests, time and skills:

1. Come along to FoE Sydney meetings

FoE Sydney meets at 6pm every third Wednesday night of the month at the Neighbourhood Centre in Newtown in the Upstairs Meeting Room HIR168.  We welcome new members, ideas, initiatives and projects. 2. Donate to FoE Sydney

Click here to become a funding member of FoE Sydney [the page is part of the FoE Australia account through the GiveNow website]. Donated funds go to essential costs such as venue hire, printing, travel expenses, and occasional staff costs for campaign work. FoE Sydney is committed to grass-roots, democratic organising and believe an active membership is an essential part of this. We work with all of our members to foster mutual support and participation.

3. Volunteer/Intern opportunities

There are official intern opportunities available through FoE Sydney in 2012. But if you would like to become a collective member we can provide support for you learn and become confident as an activist researcher and organiser through the Sky Money project.

4. Start Your Own Project

One of the aims of Friends of the Earth (FoE) Sydney is to support people in self-organisation and community-based action for social and environmental justice. FoE Sydney recognises that we can't work on everything. That’s why we want to help others get started on their own projects. FoE Sydney isn’t interested in supporting only the work that is part of Friends of the Earth, but instead wants to see a vibrant, diverse, and kick-arse movement for social change.
